Department of Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering branch of Jharsuguda Engineering School is one of the oldest and prime branch. This department has specialized faculties in all important fields of Electrical Engineering . The department has electrical Machine Laboratory, Workshop, Power electronics Lab , MATLAB & Circuit and Network theory Lab . These laboratories are well equipped with various equipment’s & machineries for smooth conduction of practical classes. An interactive relationship between teachers & students are being maintained due to which students can gain ample knowledge in Electrical Engineering section.
VISION:
To produce skilled Electrical Engineers with high quality technical knowledge and ethical values to meet need of industry and society.
MISSION—
- To build a competitive ambience for improving students analytical ability, problem finding and resolving capability.
- To enhance the leadership quality, managerial skill, social awareness and responsibility towards environment by different curricular and co-curricular activities.
- To inculcate moral values and ethics within the students.
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)—
- To involve in research and design of systems, tools and its applications in the electrical engineering field and related engineering plant and industries.
- To create a scope in the field of electrical engineering and allied industries as well as to pursue higher education.
- To work efficiently and effectively as an individual as well as team members and as team leader in different projects and other social, economical activities.
- To enhance the communication and delivering skills.
- To make individuals to develop the quality to adapt the changing professional and social needs to focus in lifelong learning and carrier enhancement.
PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSO)—
- Able to design and create engineering tools, components with the acquired knowledge.
- Able to manage the maintenance and quality of products in industries.
- Able to apply the knowledge of Electrical engineering fundamentals to solve the engineering problems.
- Able to identify and solve engineering problems using codified standard methods.
